Love FitBark I have three regular and now a FitBark 2 for my new puppy.It’s a great product and helps see when there are things going on you wouldn’t of noticed. Like my one was much less active during the day for a few days. FitBark sent me a notification asking if he was feeling ok so I checked into his FitBark info and seen he was much less active. Turns out he was sick. Went to the vet and he was examined and put on medicine. I watch my dogs closely but hadn’t noticed any signs of illness until looking at his data.For my these are priceless as I can monitor their activity if at home or away plus if you have someone that is to be taking your dogs out / or walking them. If they don’t you can tell and that is great too!!!If you ever have an issue or question the support is amazing and quick to help

I bought the Fitbark to monitor my dog's health, after he was diagnosed with a skin condition and put on long term medication.The device takes a sample of a period of 4 hours during the night, and tells me how restless my dog has been - so I can monitor the effectiveness of his medication. My vet was very impressed when I could evidence the exact date the medication started to wear off!It's also great fun; the app syncs with my own Fitbit so we can achieve our targets together!I had a couple of questions, but the online help team were very quick to respond.You do just need to be careful how you attach it to the dog's collar. It fastens on with two tiny cable ties, which (because of the place I'd attached it) rubbed and caused my dog's neck to get very sore. I took it off and re-attached to a different part of the collar which meant the cable ties were no longer in drect contact with his neck, and it's fine now.

This is a replacement FitBark for one that no longer was in working order. We had let our dog go into the water and the first one was not waterproof. We decided to buy a second one, the upgraded model, and we have had no problems as this one has a protective cover over it. She can now go swimming which is beneficial as she has had elbow dysplasia. She loves swimming when we go to the beach Thank you for updating the FitBark to allow this. Fingers crossed it continues to do so.

I'm in day 3 of using the FitBark 2 activity monitor and I'm enjoying the results. The device was super easy to install on my dog's collar. I don't even think he knows that it's there! I installed the app and was able to connect to my FitBark and set up my account in a short amount of time. I love the look of the app. I uploaded a picture of my dog and was able to set his daily goals. I'm also excited that the battery life is so long. That allows for me to have it on my dog, not worry about it and let it do it's job. The biggest plus so far? I feel guilty if my dog doesn't achieve his points goal for the day so I find myself getting up off my couch and taking him for walks.I plan to take advantage of the community aspect of the app and connect with other dog owners. Maybe I'll even find some who want to take on some "daily point" challenges!!I highly recommend this product. If you have a dog, the FitBark needs to be on their collar!!

I started grad school last summer and brought my 9-year-old Catahoula with me. We moved from a 10 acre farm into a neighborhood and he gained 7 pounds (normally only 55 Ibs) by Christmas. Getting a Fitbark was the best thing I could have done for my dog! Looking at his activity points encourages me to take him out when I'm exhausted and make one more lap around the neighborhood when I'm ready to go inside. I can share his profile with my boyfriend so we can work together to make sure the dog gets enough exercise.The best part is that I charged it on December 25 and didn't have to charge it again until March 22nd even though I used it every day in between. I personally haven't had any problems with the cap so far.My only small complaint is that sometimes I don't think the dog gets any more bark points for running than he does for walking BUT I haven't taken the time to sync the device's bark points over one mile for my dog.I've never taken the time to review an item, but I just had to share how much I love the Fitbark.
